These types of photo captions have been circulating around Facebook for quite a while now. Who in the world invented this? *insert straight face*
So, does this “1 like = 1 prayer” mean that when you like the photo, would a prayer for the *insert subject of the photo* automatically be prayed? Will someone count the likes and pray for the *subject* N times for you and all the likers? Will God be checking the number of likes and say “Ah, these people who ‘liked’ this photo ‘prayed’ for this.”?
No. I don’t think so. If you intend for a prayer to reach God telling Him about *insert subject* here, you should ACTUALLY PRAY. I’m not saying you should not like the photo (That’s obviously your choice if you want to click the button.). What I’m saying is that you should not believe this “1 like = 1 prayer,” instead, do your part! Palms together, bow your head, close your eyes and talk to God.
“But It’s easy to ‘like’ than to do the actual praying!”
Then that means you don’t really want to pray for that something displayed on the photo.
